As an independent data service, claim-trade aims to make the products of insurers, banks, other financial service providers and health insurance companies more transparent and comparable. In doing so, decision-relevant information on financial products is bundled and presented as a rating for consumers and customers. Scientific methodology is at the forefront of this process. In particular, data from the General Insurance Conditions (AVB), benefit and service data of the insurer as well as price and premium data are included in the rating. Subsequently, the independently determined test winners are awarded quality seals, which provide important orientation for consumers.

How is testing carried out?
Claim-trade tests products and services according to scientific methods in independent institutes and publishes the results in its publications / with its media partners.
As an independent financial services institute, we are free in our test design and in the development and application of our test criteria. The test designs include official enquiries to companies and the collected data is then methodically recorded and evaluated. Test winners are awarded prizes, thus making it easier for consumers to find the right products for their needs. This tried and tested procedure is based on clear and comprehensible criteria. For claim-trade, free test planning comes first. Studies show: Objective and independent comparative tests stimulate competition and lead to more fairness and customer proximity.
